A Corey Hart Animated Special – Get Well Soon, Corey

Hello -

Some of you may be familiar with my drawings of Corey Hart in numerous odd situations. I'd been meaning to put some of these up, before today's sad news that Hart will have to undergo season-ending left knee surgery. (per Tom Haudricourt, aka – our favorite Prince of Darkness).

Some of these -or, many of these – illustrations are ones I've already drawn on my wonderful little vector drawing program I use for pretty much everything I've ever drawn. Especially the Gorman/Guido Exquisite Corpse picture. I added in Ed Sedar, for a bit more variation. There will probably be a few more-to-numerous drawings for Corey, but I'll need to make a leg cast, or something. Anyhow, without further ado / adieu (?)

Drawings by J. Lemont, of The Brewers Bar

Note(s): if you have children, or confused friends or other family members, don't feel as though you have to explain all of this, right away. It's possible they might be just more afraid of the Brewers, pretty much.

The Gorman picture may also look familiar. If so, it truly is/might be more than just a figment of your imagination. It's part of the logo, also, from a friend blog* of The Brewers Bar, thebookofgorman.

*or, a friendly competitor. I did not check with everyone else on the blog to verify the status. But, they're friendly, super nice people!

p.s. Forgot – this is an earlier design that includes Corey Hart. When K-Rod briefly took over for the closers' spot, last year, some of the opportunities were surreal, like this one -

Like I said, earlier, there will probably be more drawings, old and new, provided they do not upset anyone.

Jess Lemont

About Jess Lemont

Jess is mostly an illustrator, here, providing occasional theme music. As her profile picture would indicate, she does not (or, may not) have a the skill required for flipping bats, so a drawing has replaced it. Really, you could also think of her as the photographer without a camera, in that regard. And, really...maybe it's best not to ask beyond this point.
